Take a ride to a well-kept secret, Bird Shoal, which features miles of uninhabited secluded beach. We drop you off directly on the ocean side beach so you don’t have to hike across the island. Bird Shoal is great for beachcombing, relaxing, sand dollar hunting, shelling, and shallow protected swimming.
On Bird Shoal, you will find around three miles of pristine beach, a great view of the Beaufort Inlet. This is also a local spot for finding sand dollars and shells.
What to Bring

Wild Horses
Wild Horses roam Carrot Island and Bird Shoal. The herd move frequently so you never know when or where you will see them.
